PLATO

Plato is designed for active kitchen users who desire both a clean aesthetic and a better way  to dry their dishes. In order to save water and provide an added benefit, the Plato includes a sleek planter in which the user can grow herbs watered by the runoff as dishes dry. Plato allows the user to dry and store their dishes in a stylish and effective way, freeing up counter space and bringing joy to an otherwise undesirable task.

Machined rods slide out from between the plate holders to allow for easy drying of cups and mugs. “Drip system” siphons water down and out to the bottom of the piece, where it is collected in the planter. A simple, wall- mounted metal planter sits below the main frame to collect dripping water for the herb garden.
